Armenian and Bosnian delegations visit ISTT

A delegation of businesspeople from Armenia along with some of the representatives from Bosnia Chamber of Commerce visited Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) on the 14th of December 2022.

The Armenian delegation consisted of businesspeople from Republican Union of Employers of Armenia who were active in different fields from machinery and construction, production, jewelry making, pharmaceutical and medical laboratory to financial services.

The visitors were briefed about the way the technology and knowledge-based companies are supported in the science park. After a comprehensive presentation about ISTT, its mission and its international achievements, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the ISTT Association of Knowledge-based Companies and Republican Union of Employers of Armenia to foster trades and transaction between the two countries.

Bosnian delegation was also informed about the activities of Isfahan Regional Center for Technology Incubator and Science Park Development (IRIS) and services that this UNESCO Center provides to other countries. Many issues and ways of cooperation with IRIS and its services were discussed during this visit.

On the second half of the meeting, the teams were taken to visit some of the outstanding companies settled in ISTT and participate in pre-arranged B2B meetings with 23 companies. The B2B meetings were organized due to the interests shown by Armenian delegation in Iranian knowledge-based products to build connections and to find new clients and potential cooperation partners.
